Win a Progresso Prize Pack & A Soup Review

You could win a Prize Pack from Progresso and learn about their new high Fiber soup today.

Eat more fiber. You've probably heard it a million time. But why is fiber so good for your health?
First of all, dietary fiber is found mainly in whole grains, fruits, vegetables,  and legumes. The one thing that you probably know is that fiber is good at preventing or relieving constipation. But did you know that dietary fiber can lower your risk of diabetes and heart disease? It does it by lowering your blood cholesterol and controlling your blood sugar levels. It can even help aid in weight loss because dietary fiber helps keep you feeling fuller longer.  An easy way to add fiber to your diet is with the new line of Progresso High Fiber soups.

An easy and tasty way of getting more fiber is by eating Progresso’s new High Fiber soups.  The High Fiber line offers four delicious varieties that all have no added MSG, or artificial flavors and have 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber (7 grams) per serving. The new varieties include Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodle, and Homestyle Minestrone.

My Blog Spark and Progresso sent me a can of their Chicken Tuscan soup to test and review.
I've got to say, I was a bit skeptical because most things that are good for you don't always taste good. This soup proved this theory wrong. It tasted like great soup. It had chunks of carrots, beans, celery, zucchini, tomatoes all in a wonderful, homemade tasting chicken broth. It had lots of flavor and was really filling. It's the perfect lunch. I really enjoyed it and will be trying the other flavors on my own. Any time I can add some nutrition and or fiber to my diet I do, and this is a really easy way to do it.

In addition to the soup, they also sent me a set of these great soup bowls and spoons and you can win a set for yourself!!!
They will send a Progresso Prize Pack to one lucky winner, here from my blog, which includes: two branded soup mugs and two branded spoons.

Clothespins aren't just for clothes anymore! Household tip

I use clothespins for everything in my house. Yes, I do use them to hang clothing that can't go in the dryer but, the place that I use them the most is in the kitchen. Yes, you heard me right, in the kitchen.  I use clothespins to close up bags of chips or cookies in the pantry,
to close non- zip plastic bags, to seal up brown sugar and powdered sugar bags, chocolate chip bags and my favorite use,  to close the bread bag. I hate those little tabs, they rip the bags, always get lost and frankly they just don't seal that well. I take off the tab and if it has the expiration date on it I drop the tab into the bag and then I use a clothespin to seal and reseal the bread bag. They hold firmly, seal well and are really easy to take on and off.
Since we have a stainless fridge, I can't use magnets to leave notes for my kids, instead, much to their annoyance, I use a clothespin to hang notes from one of the down lights in my kitchen. They can't miss it!
I also use clothespins in my closet. When I run out of skirt hangers, I use 2 clothespins to clip a skirt onto a regular hanger.

Take a look on Etsy and you'll see some really cute painted and decorated clothespins that would be so fun and stylish to use.
