It was then expanded after WWI to commemorate US men and women who have died while in Military Service. It is always held on the last Monday of May.Since it is a National Holiday- the only household assignment I have for you is to take a moment with your family today to remember the brave men and women who have died protecting us and our freedoms that we so take for granted sometimes. Please also take the time to pray for the soldiers who have come home safely and for those that are currently serving right now.
Have a wonderful week.
