Yep, it's Tuesday and time for some random thoughts!
On some blog I ran across a game called Finish It Friday! The idea is to find unfinished craft projects and finish them. Well, I thought this was a great idea...... until I went searching for unfinished projects to complete. OMGosh!!! Have I ever finished anything? You would think NOT by how many things I found half done. I knew I was ADD but this was concrete proof that I didn't need. Granted, some of these projects are from 20 years ago but still ridiculous. Now the question is whether or not to finish some of these things or just throw away the evidence of my scattered brain. Vote Now!!!
Here's to random weather. Sunday- sunny gorgeous and in the low 80's, typical fall weather!!!
Monday- cloudy forcasted rain and SNOW??!!!! WTFrick! It snowed off and on all day. Thankfully, none of it stuck but still. I am not ready for winter at all. I haven't even dug out my fall decorations. It was too warm to do it before and now it's too cold. Crap!
Again- Why do dogs have to lick?????
I made chili sauce all day yesterday. It's more like a homemade ketchup. Not too spicy and perfect on meatloaf and potroast. The whole house still smells like cloves, cinnamon and tomatoes. I love making it, even though it takes all day, but it's more than that, it's the tradition of doing it just like my mom and grandma have done for decades. This year I was a week behind them. My grandma and mom both made theirs last week but I was too busy. I love family traditions and the connection you feel to your history.

You are making me hungry,I always enjoy reading your blog it's funny and educational. Thanks for all the great tips!!!
It would take more than one Tuesday for me to finish all my unfinished projects! Maybe I should set aside one per week and work through them that way.....,
Hi, I just found your blog, from Cheapskate Mom's blog. You have so many interesting things to look at! I love the Christmas Cookie section! WOW! You can tell I'm excited because you have the Spritz cookie recipe I'm going to try!! I'll be following as soon as the following buttons are back up! Thanks!
That Chili Sauce sounds delish and the weather does seem wacky these days! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Looking forward to reading more from you! :)
It drives my husband nuts that I never finish anything. I say he can finish it himself if it's that annoying.
Family traditions are great aren't they? In my family we did the whole baking thing but I've been way too lazy lately...besides who knows if I'd even finish making them!
Thanks coming over to my blog. I'm so happy you came by! Your friends connect isn't back up yet! So, I'll be back! I was thinking of that recipe tonight! I haven't had those cookies since I was young, so I'll making them soon!
I'll let you know how they come out!!
The chili sauce sounds amazing. I'll trade you for some avocados. ;)
Also, it's hot as hell where we live. Nothing like Fall, just an extension of hot-burn-your-eye-balls-out-of-their-sockets-summer-heat.
Oh no. I can not finish all these projects by Friday. it won't happen. I love your post. You have a great sense of humor.
The chilli sauce sounds yummy!!
BTW, I love your sense of humour.
I would vote for finishing some of the projects.
That's one I need to get in on, but it would take me forever to finish every crafty project that I started!
